Thursday

Welcome drinks in the evening. - 1800 in the Boardwalk Gallery within the Wrest Point complex. This will be an informal gathering so everyone can meet. There will be a $40 per head charge. Food will be provided but you will need to buy your own drinks. We will give you details of the cruise for the next day, but the real purpose to get everyone in one spot, to meet.

Friday

A change of plan from our original thought.
Peppermint Bay Cruise is a far less weather dependent cruise, cheaper at $170.00 (2023), shorter at around 5-1/2 Hr’s & a larger vessel so everyone (Limit 160) will be on board. The cruise goes a short way down the d’Entrecasteaux Channel to the Peppermint Bay Hotel where we disembark for lunch. We view Hobart & surrounds along the way & hopefully catchup with some wildlife. Another plus is we will depart & return from/to the Wrest Point pier, so only a short walk from your room.

Saturday

No trips organised but always plenty to do around Hobart.

Salamanca Market Home Salamanca Market which is where a lot of Hobart goes on Saturday.

Mona - Mona – Museum of Old and New Art | Hobart, Tasmania via the ferry from near market.

Hop-on-hop off bus, Red Decker | The Official Sightseeing Tour Of Hobart, which has Wrest Point as one of its stops on its loop around Hobart. It also connects with tours to Richmond & Mt Wellington.

Iron Pot Cruise is a 2½ hour cruise at 10 am & 2 pm exploring the renowned waterways that influence Hobart's lifestyle. Iron Pot Cruises - Pennicott Wilderness Journeys

The dinner will be held at West Point starting at 1800 in the Boardwalk Gallery

Will be an informal lunch for those that wish to attend as I’m told some will be travelling.
